We are looking for a reliable and experienced Cook to join our client's team in the Stoke-on-Trent area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about preparing healthy, nutritious meals and working in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities of this Cook role:

• Plan, prepare, and cook healthy, balanced, and nutritious meals

• Create varied menus that meet dietary requirements and budget guidelines

• Manage food preparation and kitchen duties independently or as part of a team

• Ensure high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness

• Maintain awareness of allergens and ensure safe food handling practices

• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering within budget

• Follow all food safety regulations and procedures

Skills & Experience Required for this Cook role:

• Previous experience in catering or a kitchen environment

• Knowledge of food hygiene and food safety standards (Food Hygiene Level 2 preferred)

• Understanding of dietary requirements and allergen awareness

• Experience in menu planning and budgeting

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good organisational and time management skills

• Full, valid UK driving licence

Details for this Cook role:

• Hourly rate: £12.20, increasing to £13.12 in April

• Monday to Friday 9am-1pm

• Supportive working environment

• Permanent position for the right candidate

• Location: Stoke-on-Trent
