Are you a Cook who has managed housekeeping, or a head housekeep who is an amazing cook! This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Catering Manager, Cook or hospitality professional who wants to stay in the industry they love, but move into a more balanced role across food, events and wider venue operations. Set within a beautiful estate in the Clitheroe area, this historic house hosts retreats, conferences, private events and bed and breakfast guests.
This is not a standard high volume chef role. It would suit someone with strong hospitality experience, especially from a smaller business where personal service, organisation and the little details really matter. You will take ownership of the catering side of the venue, including menu planning, preparation, ordering, allergens, food safety, stock control, continental breakfasts and delivery of food for events and retreats.
Alongside the food operation, you will be supporting the wider venue operations, housekeeping rotas, planning and managing of a small housekeeping team who also assist with events and guest service FOH duties. Working days can be planned around food preparation, event delivery, and admin, with the flexibility to complete admin from home when catering is not required on site, making this a brilliant role for someone who loves hospitality but is looking for more balance, variety and responsibility.
This role does not provide accommodation; you must be able to relocate or commute reliably.
Please note that this role does not provide Sponsorship, to apply you will need a full British Passport or the right to work in the UK.
