About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join a busy and expanding Residential and Commercial Property team. This role provides an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to develop their legal career while supporting experienced legal professionals within a friendly and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing administrative support including audio and copy typing, email management, photocopying, filing, and document organisation.
  • Assisting with the completion of forms and preparation of legal documents under supervision.
  • Managing matters through case management systems and ensuring compliance with file procedures.
  • Updating file checklists and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assisting with client identification and compliance procedures, including anti-money laundering checks.
  • Preparing completion statements and supporting completion processes.
  • Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications.
  • Submitting Stamp Duty Land Tax returns.
  • Producing invoices and transfer documentation.
  • Communicating professionally with clients, solicitors, agents, and other external contacts by telephone and email.
  • Responding to enquiries, providing information, and arranging appointments.
  • Providing reception cover when required.
  • Supporting general conveyancing administration and day-to-day departmental activities.
  • Completing internal training and ongoing professional development.
Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience with audio typing.
  • Strong computer literacy and confidence using digital systems.
  • An understanding of residential and/or commercial conveyancing procedures.
  • Experience using case management and accounts systems (desirable).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal professionally with clients and business contacts.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A willingness to learn and develop within a legal environment.
