Conveyancing Assistant/Paralegal

Our client, a very reputable firm are looking to appoint a Legal Assistant/Paralegal for their Conveyancing Department based in Retford. You will be tasked with acting as an assistant and primary support to our client in managing and progressing a caseload within the firm, dealing with all matters of Conveyancing.

To be considered for the role, you'll require the following essentials:

• Experience of working within the Legal Sector
• Experience of working as a Legal Assistant/Paralegal
• Proven conveyancing experience
• Knowledge of MS Office & Case Management Systems
• Strong organisational skills
• High attention to detail

Within this position, you'll also be:

• Undertaking full file creation, organising & tracking property transaction files
• Preparing legal documents, forms and correspondence for review
• Liaising with clients, estate agents & third-party solicitors
• Undertaking basic legal or property research
• Organising of case material
• Providing administrative support to fee earners & solicitors
• Opening & closing of files
• Updating case management systems with accurate & detailed information
• Carrying out ad hoc duties as required

Salary & Working Hours

Salary is £24,000 - £27,000 per annum, dependant on experience

Working Hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm with 1 hours' lunch
