Conveyancing Assistant - Experience Required

Juice Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established legal client based in central Cheltenham in their search for an organised and proactive Conveyancing Assistant.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and professional team, providing essential administrative support throughout the conveyancing process. Previous conveyancing experience would be highly advantageous, although candidates with strong legal administration experience and a genuine interest in property law are also encouraged to apply.

DAY TO DAY:

• Supporting fee earners with a varied residential conveyancing caseload
• Opening new files and completing client onboarding procedures
• Carrying out identification, compliance and anti-money laundering checks
• Preparing and issuing correspondence and legal documentation
• Liaising professionally with clients, solicitors, estate agents and other third parties
• Requesting searches and assisting with Land Registry applications
• Providing regular updates to clients throughout their transactions
• Managing diaries, arranging appointments and monitoring key deadlines
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic and paper files
• Supporting the wider conveyancing department with general administration

• Previous experience within conveyancing or a legal environment
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A professional and confident telephone manner
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
• A proactive, reliable and client-focused approach
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and case management systems
