A well-regarded national law firm is seeking a motivated Associate or Senior Associate to join its Residential Property team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced residential property lawyer with exposure to high-net-worth clients and complex transactions.

You will manage a varied caseload and deliver high-quality, client-focused advice across a broad spectrum of residential property matters.

The Role

As a key member of the Residential Conveyancing team, you will handle a wide range of matters, including:

  • Sales and purchases
  • Re-mortgages and transfers of equity
  • Lease extensions and leasehold enfranchisement
  • New build transactions
  • Listed buildings and unregistered land
  • Country and high-value property transactions

Providing property support to colleagues within the wider private client team.

The role will also involve close collaboration with colleagues in other practice areas (including planning, estate planning and litigation) to deliver comprehensive, joined up advice to clients.

You will be encouraged to participate in business development initiatives and play an active role in the continued growth of the practice. Compliance with data security requirements and firm policies is an integral part of the role.

About You

The successful candidate will be:

  • A qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX) or Licensed Conveyancer
  • Ideally with 3+ years' experience in residential conveyancing
  • Experienced in lease extensions and enfranchisement work (both leasehold and freehold)
  • Confident managing a busy and varied caseload independently

You will demonstrate:

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities
  • A proactive, detail oriented approach
  • The ability to manage competing priorities effectively
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development
  • An interest in agricultural or rural property work would be advantageous, though not essential.
The Firm

This is an opportunity to join a respected national law firm with a strong market reputation and a people-focused culture. The firm is known for investing in its teams, supporting professional development, and promoting a collaborative and inclusive working environment.

Flexible working arrangements are available, with a genuine commitment to helping individuals balance high-quality client service with personal well being.

What's on Offer
  • High-quality residential property work, including complex and high-value matters
  • A supportive and collaborative team environment
  • Clear opportunities for progression
  • Comprehensive learning and development programmes
  • A competitive salary and flexible benefits package
  • A culture that values diversity, respect and long-term career growth
