Controlling Operations Transversal Senior Financial Analyst

Main responsibilities:
Coordinate and support month-end and quarter-end closing activities, including preparation and review of accruals, journal entries,
Apply knowledge in OPEX to ensure accurate financial reporting,
Manage and ensure proper application of allocation methodologies and compliance with internal controls, review of allocation keys (actual/budget) in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, TM1),
Assist in analysis of balance sheet items (e.g., accruals, prepaids, reserves) and provide substantiated justifications,
Support variance analysis and trend reporting to identify risks and opportunities for management review,
Collaborate closely with Controllers and A2R teams to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial close,
Support business partners with spend analysis, monthly accruals, and forecasting activities,
Provide financial guidance and education to non-finance stakeholders to promote compliance and financial literacy,
Monitor and ensure compliance with Sanofi's standards for capital expenditure and asset tracking,
Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy,
Challenge existing processes and propose innovative solutions to improve financial operations,
Contribute to the development and dissemination of best practices across the region,
Continuously build financial and business acumen to support strategic initiatives.
Experience :
5+ year work experience in a related field.
Soft skills:
Must have high attention to detail, quality and proven ability to operate effectively under pressure and strict deadlines,
Strong organization skills: ability to track and manage a high volume of projects at a detailed level,
Ability to develop a rapport and credibility with key stakeholders
Ability to work effectively across international work streams,
Demonstrated organization savvy and self- awareness,
Adaptable and able to work in complex matrix environment,
Change agent who can propose, lead, and drive changes,
Motivated to grow in your career.
Technical skills:
Diversified financial controlling experience,
Advanced excel skills,
E xcellent written and oral communication skills in English, with proven experience working across multiple stakeholders,
Strong analytical capabilities with attention to detail and strategic thinking,
Technology savvy, business orientation, and agile learning abilities required,
Capable of working in multiple systems and tools.
Education:
Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
Preferred:
MBA and/or CPA,
German language skills are an advantage,
Pharmaceutical and public accounting experience,
SAP, S4/HANA experience,
TM1 experience.
