We are on the lookout for a Control System Engineer to join our friendly team at Jordan's Dorset Ryvita. As part of the ABF group, we have ambitious plans for growth over the next 5 years and we need someone with the drive and passion to help us get there.

The role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to improve, maintain and rectify electrical control systems within a manufacturing site.

Key Accountabilities

Our Senior Engineer is looking for a team member to

  • Carry out root cause analysis breakdowns and implement improvements to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
  • Design and implement modifications to existing electrical systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.

And you have the following skills and experiences

• Minimum Level 3 Equivalent Apprenticeship in an electrical discipline.
• Extensive experience in electrical troubleshooting, and repair.
• Expertise in electrical systems, components, and equipment, including knowledge of relevant codes and regulations.
• Able to work autonomously on their own and within a team.
• A good understanding of PLC, HMI and servo systems, preferably Allen Bradley.
• Working and use of AUTOCAD or a similar design software package.
