Purpose of the role?

At CSI, We are experiencing an exciting phase of growth. The purpose for this role is as a control system engineer, you will prepare and oversee software engineering throughout the project all the way through final commissioning of the project. You will monitor, control and manage the quality and planning of the work while collaborating closely with project engineers and engineers from other disciplines.

Core Deliverables -

• Provide a high level of skill in interpreting the customer's and regulatory requirements to ensure software designs are perfectly aligned. This will ensure technical risk is reduced to acceptable levels and deliver solutions right first time.
• Ensure the relevant software design documents are issued in line with the schedule enabling agreed deliveries to be met.
• Communicate accurate project status to the Project Engineer, internal and external customers and suppliers to ensure they can proactively plan.
• Contribute to the department's continuous improvement programme to ensure the business provides the highest possible value of service to our customers.
• Perform the role of software lead during internal and external design review meetings to ensure key design approvals are achieved in line with project schedules.
• In collaboration with the commissioning team and Process Development Manager support the machine commissioning process to a successful FAT and SAT

What are we looking for?

• Knowledge & Experience with PLC Software ( Siemens & TIA Portal)
• Familiarity with robot software (ABB, Fanuc)
• Eplan and Servo software is a bonus!
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Willingness to travel internationally
