Control of Site Safety (COSS)

Overview

Teamforce Labour are currently seeking an experienced COSS (Controller of Site Safety) to join our team in Southampton.

Role & Responsibilities

• Act as the Controller of Site Safety on railway worksites.
• Ensure the safety of all staff and contractors on site.
• Implement and brief safe systems of work.
• Liaise with site managers, staff, and Network Rail representatives.
• Maintain accurate site safety records and documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid COSS competency (Sentinel card).
• PTS (Personal Track Safety) - with full medical & D&A in date.
• Good knowledge of railway safety standards and procedures.
• Ability to manage and communicate effectively with teams.
• Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential.

Location

Southampton (with potential travel across the South Coast)

Duration

Ongoing - long-term work available.
