Job Description

FindCore are thrilled to be assisting a well-established Property Maintenance company with the recruitment of a Contracts Manager.

Permanent position. This role will be based in Lanarkshire, covering reactive maintenance and refurbishment projects across the region.

Working Hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm)

Salary - £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Benefits - Company fuel card and car allowance provided

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of reactive maintenance and refurbishment projects across the public sector.
  • Oversee works across multiple sites.
  • Plan, programme and coordinate planned and responsive maintenance works.
  • Manage site teams and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered on time and to standard.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure essential facilities remain fully operational.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets and timescales.
  • Inspect works and maintain high standards of quality and workmanship.
  • Ensure all works are carried out safely and in line with health and safety requirements.
  • Support the development and progression of site-based staff.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, Site Supervisor, Site Manager or in a comparable construction or maintenance role or FM role.
  • Previous experience within reactive maintenance, refurbishment or property maintenance.
  • Strong background in Joinery and General Trades.
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certificate.
  • Experience managing works across multiple sites.
  • Strong organisational, planning and programming skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities within a fast-paced environment.
