CONTRACT Security Assurance Co-ordinator vacancy in London (166lw)

Are you a veteran or ex-forces professional with a strong background in Information Security or Compliance?

This is a fantastic contract opportunity (initially running until March 2026) to bring your military discipline, eye for detail, and experience working in secure environments to a highly sensitive, mission-critical programme.

We're looking for a Security Assurance Co-ordinator who can confidently support assurance activities across a high-trust, high-security environment. Your understanding of Defence protocols, security standards, and regulated environments will set you up for success in this vital role.

Key Skills & Experience

• Experience working in a secure or regulated setting (e.g., Defence, MOD, Government, Finance, Nuclear)
• Knowledge of information security, compliance, or assurance procedures
• Confident communicator - able to liaise with technical, military, and civilian teams
• Support with audits and physical security assurance checks
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Trusted team player who can use initiative and sound judgement

Desirable (but not essential)

• Experience working with CASD (Customer Access Security Device)
• Familiarity with PKI and credentialing systems
• Certifications: ITIL v4 Foundation or Agile SAFe
• Membership in professional bodies (e.g., ISACA, BCS, IISP)
