Krinkels UK are a grounds maintenance & street cleansing services company, head quartered in Oxfordshire, but operating across the UK. Work is undertaken for public and private sector clients such as councils, the NHS, and housing associations.

Due to continued growth we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, energetic, enthusiastic Contract Manager to lead our grounds maintenance operations in the Croydon Borough.

With a flexible attitude, you will demonstrate our Company ethos on a daily basis, motivating your teams to perform the consistent high-quality services that are the hallmark of Krinkels UK.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POST: Responsible for managing day-to-day operations, you will be the main point of contact for the Client and all key stakeholders. With good IT skills you will effectively utilise our systems to competently manage and report on all aspects of contract service delivery. You will have:

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent. A full clean UK driving license is required. A copy of the job description and person specification outlining the key responsibilities is available.

Responsibilities
  • Proven experience of managing term contracts and projects from inception to completion with attention to detail and methodical approach to work
  • Appoint and manage staff
  • Control contract spend within budget
  • Order materials and monitor stock levels
  • Liaise with clients regarding operational matters and hold contract progress meetings
  • Liaise with customers and provide clear helpful advice
  • Provide work quotations
  • Control health and safety and personnel matters
  • Investigate accidents and insurance claims
  • Compile client reports and monitor results for presentation at progress meetings
  • Control quality and ensure work is completed to the specification standard
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, relationship management and influencing skills
  • Be able to constructively challenge, creating mutually beneficial outcomes for all stakeholders
  • Demonstrate a full commitment to the highest ethical standards, and Krinkels behaviours and values
Qualifications
  • Certificate of Higher Education (preferred)
  • NVQ Level 3 in relevant technical/business discipline (required)
  • Driving Licence (required)
  • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent H&S qualification (preferred)
