Contract Lawyer - Catalogue Acquisitions (M/W/D)

Under the responsibility of the VP Small Catalogue Acquisition and with a dotted line to the Group Senior M&A Lawyer, the Catalog Acquisition Lawyer will support the newly created business team in implementing the Group's small catalogue acquisition strategy by:

1. Managing all legal aspects of the catalogue acquisitions process, including legal due diligence, contract drafting, negotiation, and review of documents such as non-binding offers, confidentiality agreements, and asset purchase agreements with IP considerations.
2. Streamlining contractualization and due diligence processes to support scalability, including structuring contract templates to enhance speed, reduce costs, and mitigate risks, as well as developing local IP law intelligence to increase transaction volume globally.

Qualifications

Master's degree in business law combined with expertise in M&A and IP is highly advantageous. Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of experience within law firms or as in-house counsel, with a proven track record in IP/content rights transactions. A problem-solving mindset, strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, and fluency in French and English are required.
