• Job Title: Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer - Temporary ongoing role, day shifts
• Hourly rate: £36 - 38 per hour
• Job Type: Permanent
• Electrical bias, ideally dual skilled
• Client: Global Consumer Manufacturing Company
• Location: Wakefield Pontefract area
• Commutable from M62, M1, with good access from North, West, South, and East Yorkshire
• Recruitment drive due to site automation, expansion, and CAPEX Investment
• Contract Type: Temporary Contract 3-6 months

Key Responsibilities - Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer - Dayshifts

• Service, adjust, and repair machinery and equipment using appropriate tools safely and properly
• Examine machinery and equipment, report on condition and performance, and plan improvements
• Perform planned and preventative maintenance according to schedules
• Contribute ideas for small projects to improve plant performance, including machinery modifications

Qualifications & Requirements - Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer - Day shifts

• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or maintenance, or similar manufacturing qualification
• HND or HNC diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Or equivalent qualifications in electrical or mechanical fields, preferably with manufacturing experience
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred; Armed Forces and other sector backgrounds are also welcome
