Construction Solicitor

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Construction Solicitor to join a top-tier and fast-growing Construction team within a leading Dublin-based law firm, advising on complex construction, engineering and energy projects.

This role has a strong contentious construction focus and offers high-quality work, strong training and clear long-term career progression.

The Role

The successful candidate will join a highly regarded Construction practice with extensive experience advising on domestic and international construction disputes.

The role will involve:

  • Advising clients on contentious construction matters, with early identification of issues and provision of real-time, practical advice
  • Analysing and advising on construction claims, including prolongation, delay, additional cost and damages
  • Assisting in the advancement and defence of claims across multiple dispute forums
  • Exposure to disputes advocacy, including dispute boards, arbitration and Court proceedings
  • Opportunities to work on energy and infrastructure-related disputes
  • Working closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers in a collaborative team environment

This role offers a strong platform to develop specialist disputes expertise within construction law.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1-5 years' PQE, ideally in contentious construction or a related disputes practice
  • Strong client service skills and the ability to manage multiple matters effectively
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to working within a team
  • Excellent analytical, drafting and organisational skills
  • A genuine interest in building a long-term career in construction disputes
