Content Services Solutions Engineer

Position Summary:

Vasont Systems , a division of TransPerfect, is looking for a full-time Content Services Solutions Engineer to be part of our dynamic team offering content management solutions to our clients. They offer a single-source Component Content Management System that increases the speed and efficiency of creating, managing, localizing and publishing their multilingual content, presenting an intuitive and simple user experience to advance the content development and publishing cycles for content contributors.

Position responsibilities:

• Define, design and conduct the technical aspects of internal and client projects.
• Design solutionsfor software implementations and configurations, data transformations, publishing stylesheets and other related technologies
• Analyze new sales requirements and participate in sales initiatives
• Be the expert in product featuresand define new featuresto improve the product
• Lead workshops, consulting and trainingevents
• Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for this role and assignedby the manager/supervisor

Essential skills required:

• Superior written and spoken communication skills in English
• 1-3 years of experience in software support and configuration
• Experience in defining and demonstrating softwaresolutions and valuepropositions to end-client
• Experience in content management and data analysis
• Self-motivated individual capable of demonstrating initiative and the ability to think outside of the box
• Detail oriented, good judgement and decision-makingskills
• Experience in process development
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Committed to a high level of service
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
• Web conferencing tools (i.e., WebEx, GoToMeeting)

Desired skills and experience:

• Knowledge of additional languages at professional working proficiency
• XSL, XSLT, XSL-FO, HTML, CSS, DITA,DocBook, S1000D, MIL-STD
• Familiar with FrameMaker, InDesign XMetaL, ArbortextEditor
• Familiar with content management, data composition, publishing, graphic creation, and translation processes
