Job Description
Content Designer - Regulated Digital Programme

Rate: Up to £450/day (Inside IR35)
Contract Length: 6 months
Location: Leeds - 2 days per week on site
Start: ASAP

We are supporting a consultancy delivering a digital programme within a regulated environment and are looking for an experienced Content Designer to join the team.

The role focuses on creating clear, user-centred content for digital services, working closely with product, design and delivery teams. You will help ensure content meets user needs while aligning with regulatory, policy and organisational requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, write and iterate user-centred content for digital services
  • Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary Agile teams
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and align content with service goals
  • Apply content design principles to ensure clarity, consistency and accessibility
  • Test and refine content based on user research and feedback
  • Support teams in navigating complex or regulated subject matter through clear content
Essential Experience
  • Proven experience working as a Content Designer or in a closely related role
  • Strong understanding of user-centred content design principles
  • Experience working in regulated environments (eg financial services, compliance-heavy organisations, public sector)
  • Confident stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in Agile delivery teams
Desirable Experience
  • Experience working to GDS standards and ways of working
  • Background delivering content for public sector or GOV-aligned services
