Practice Plus Group is pleased to announce that they have recently taken over the healthcare contract at HMP Garth, a Category B prison in Lancashire.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Mental Health team. The prison houses around 1500 men with a variety of health needs.

Hours

This position involves working 15 hours per week.

Salary

You'll receive an annual salary of between £170,000 and £180,000 FTE, depending on experience.

How will we support you?

• You will be part of a team of 15+ experienced and supportive Consultant psychiatrists.
• You will be able to attend monthly Consultant meetings and 1:1 clinical supervision.
• Bespoke induction, including our Introducing Health in Justice training course.
• Competency framework.
