Consultant Psychiatrist

Our Client Based in Manchester are seeking for a consultant in Psychiatry

• ASAP START - 6 months (With a view to extend)
• We have Monday to Friday 9AM-5PM

Key Responsibilities:

Provide clinical leadership and direct psychiatric care within the team

Deliver diagnostic assessments and formulate comprehensive treatment plans

Engage in regular case reviews and multidisciplinary meetings

Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives

Supervise and support junior medical staff and trainees

Participate in the Consultant on-call rota as required

Full GMC registration with a licence to practise

Inclusion on the Specialist Register in Psychiatry (CCT or within 6 months of interview)

Broad experience in the assessment and treatment of mental health disorders

Strong teamworking, leadership, and communication skills

Right to work in the UK

Experience in teaching, research, or service innovation

Subspecialty interest (e.g., Rehabilitation, Liaison, Addictions, Forensic, or Neuropsychiatry)
