Consultant Neurologist (Epilepsy)

We are looking for a Consultant Neurologist with an interest in epilepsy to join our department at UHS. You will be part of the WNC regional stroke on-call rota, providing excellent hyper acute stroke care as part of the mechanical thrombectomy service. Managing inpatients and outpatients with neurological diseases and contribute to the regional stroke MT service.

• Be part of the WNC regional stroke on-call rota and provide hyper acute stroke care as part of the mechanical thrombectomy service.
• Manage inpatients and outpatients with neurological diseases and contribute to the regional stroke MT service.
• Work as part of the regional epilepsy service to deliver tertiary epilepsy services including the work-up for epilepsy surgery.
• Take part in the Southampton General Hospital ward liaison service on a 1:5 weekly rota, and regional and departmental CPD and governance activities.
• Contribute to research and education.
