About the Kidney Institute

The Kidney Institute provides acute and chronic renal impairment services for the 1.8 million population of South Yorkshire within a network of trusts. As one of the largest renal units in the country, Sheffield Kidney Institute currently offers dialysis for 675 patients. A dedicated isolation facility is available for COVID-positive and exposed/suspected patients.
