Consultant in Paediatrics - Essex Region - Perm or Locum FTC

Triple West Medical are seeking an experienced Consultant in Paediatrics for a 12-month minimum locum position, with the possibility of a substantive role for the right candidate.

The Trust offers a comprehensive range of acute and community services to over 1 million people, with over 10,000 staff. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, the ability to lead, and be active in teaching and supervising multi-disciplinary staff.

The department has 26 beds, a 7-bedded Paeds Assessment Unit, and accommodates elective, emergency, and day-stay surgery, as well as medical emergency and day-stay admissions. The post holder is expected to have an interest or experience in Cardiology, Gastroenterology, or General Paediatrics, with support to develop this role.

Opportunities exist for developing expertise in other areas and for a paediatrician with a special interest in child safeguarding to develop their role. Our client can issue Certificates of Sponsorship to suitably qualified overseas doctors, with GMC registration and relevant experience essential.
