Are you ready to lead innovation in psychological care and make a real difference for children, young people, and families across Cornwall? We are looking for an experienced dynamic Consultant Clinical Psychologist to join our highly skilled team at the forefront of the Family Help and Early Support reforms.
Main duties of the jobWhat you'll do
- Provide clinical leadership and strategic direction for our Clinical Psychologists who are embedded in various teams across Together for Families. Lead and supervise the Highly Specialist band 8b Clinical Psychologists.
- Lead and supervise the Counsellors in the Jigsaw Post Abuse Counselling Service, supporting recovery from child sexual abuse.
- Offer expert consultation, complex formulation, and interventions for vulnerable groups within Social Care.
- Drive service development aligned with the Family Help and Early Support reforms, ensuring psychological thinking shapes policy and practice.
- Champion a culture of reflective practice, resilience, and continuous improvement.

About you- HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist with a postgraduate qualification.
- Skilled in working with children and young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
- Deep understanding of attachment theory, complex developmental trauma, and systemic approaches.
- Experienced in consultation, training, and supporting professionals with emotionally challenging work.
- Resilient, reflective, and passionate about improving outcomes for vulnerable children and families.
