Are you a consult-driven vet with a passion for internal medicine? We're delighted to be supporting a well-established, independently run small animal practice in Bristol with a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to step into a medicine-focused leadership role. Why this role is unique:
This position has been created to complement a skilled surgical team - with a Lead Surgeon already in place, the practice now seeks an experienced vet to become the clinical lead in medicine. You'll be the go-to consult vet, mentor junior colleagues, and influence the direction of care and standards across the practice.
There's no requirement for prior leadership experience - just confidence in your medical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for guiding others.

About the Practice:

• Independent, locally owned and run with a strong community feel
• Excellent clinical team including vets with interests in ECC, dentistry, and surgery
• Supportive nursing and non-clinical teams
• Varied caseload with strong links to a peripatetic referral network
• Cat and rabbit friendly (ISFM Silver & RAW Silver accredited)
• Fully equipped GP practice with modern diagnostics and facilities
• Active training practice with opportunities for professional growth and teaching
