About Your New Job

As Construction Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day to day management of a 12-14MW solar project in Cork from mobilisation through to completion and commissioning.

In this role you will:

• Oversee all site operations from initial setup through to project handover
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site activities to ensure smooth project delivery
• Ensure strict compliance with health & safety standards and enforce site procedures at all times
• Monitor progress against programme and report updates to senior project stakeholders
• Manage site resources including labour, plant, and materials to ensure efficiency and cost control
• Lead site meetings and act as the key point of contact for on site coordination and issue resolution

This is a key leadership role on site, requiring strong ownership, decision making, and the ability to drive progress while maintaining quality and safety standards.

What Skills You Need

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in construction site management (renewable energy or infrastructure preferred)
• Strong understanding of construction processes, site coordination, and health & safety compliance
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications
• Proven experience managing subcontractors and delivering projects to programme and budget
