Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain theProjectSafetyPlanin alignment with company and legal standards.
  • Leadsitesafetyinductionsandtraining sessionsfor allconstructionpersonnel and contractors.
  • Review and provide input on contractors'Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Conductdaily toolbox talksandsafetybriefingsto reinforce safe work practices.
  • Perform regularsitesafetyinspections and toursto ensure compliance withsafetyprotocols and CDM 2015 requirements.
  • Advise theProjectManagerand site leadership onsafetyperformance and risk mitigation measures.
  • Manageincident reporting,investigations, and follow-up actions.
  • Maintain accurate and timelyweekly and monthlysafetyreportsand HSE metrics.
  • Ensure high-riskconstructionactivities such asexcavation, hot work, working at height, lifting operations, and demolitionare risk assessed and controlled.
  • Promote asafety-first cultureamong contractors, trades, and stakeholders on site.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • NEBOSHConstructionCertificate or equivalent HSE qualification (required).
  • Minimum5 years of experienceinconstructionsafetymanagement.
  • In-depth understanding of theUKconstructionindustryandCDM 2015 Regulations.
  • Proven experience ingreenfield and brownfield projectsinFMCG and/or chemical manufacturing environments.
  • Solid knowledge ofconstructionrisk areas, including confined space, heavy lifting, and energy isolation.
  • Experience incontractor managementand multi-vendorconstructionsites.
  • Strong reporting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
