Overview

Inform3 Recruitment are recruiting for a Construction Manager/Junior Project Manager to work on civils projects in Laois.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a construction manager to join a busy contractor and to progress in a new role.

Construction Manager Key Responsibilities:
  • Report in Senior Management
  • Ensure the site complies with the Project Plan
  • Ensure the site is a safe place to work
  • Oversee Direct and Sub-Contractor teams, coordinate daily with the teams regarding their duties
  • Complete on a regular basis the site diary, allocation sheets, time sheets, record of labour, progress report sheets, plant returns, material returns and local site purchase sheets.
  • Manage and plan all Plant, Machinery and Equipment
  • To ensure safe working practices are adhered to, as outlined in method statements and risk assessments
  • To attend sub contractors' meetings and site staff meetings.
  • Complete regular reports on pass onto Senior Management
  • Complete Toolbox talks and Health & Safety Briefings
  • Liaise with the client
  • Complete any other duties as and when required
Construction Manager Required Qualifications/Experience:
  • 5 years' plus experience in a similar role
  • Experience in managing civils site teams
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery
  • Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Full Driving License
