What you'll be doing as a Construction Assurance Engineer- Supporting essential design and delivery reviews, identifying risks and issues, and working with stakeholders to resolve them.
- Conducting health and safety audits to identify and address relevant issues.
- Focusing on the construction phase of wastewater projects, assessing and reporting project progress, rectifying issues, and leading escalation processes as necessary. Ensuring all non-conformances are identified and corrected.
- Managing, identifying, and resolving snags, liaising with Operators and contractors after takeover to handle defects, aftercare, and performance testing.
- Monitoring, agreeing on, and approving Takeover tests with the project team.
- Ensuring project documentation meets specifications and is approved for takeover.
- Working actively as part of one or more project teams with contractors.
Hybrid role based in Thames Valley.
This role requires on-site presence 3-4 days a week, 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate must have a valid driving license and access to a car, with a car allowance of £4,500 per year.
What you should bring to the role- HNC or above in an appropriate engineering subject or relevant experience.
- Knowledge of health and safety on construction sites; SMSTS qualification can be provided if not held.
- Understanding of design, construction, and operations in related industries.
- Experience in project delivery and integration within construction.
- Confidence in stakeholder communication.

- Salary from £40,000 to £60,000 per annum.
- Car allowance of £4,500 per year.
