Concrete Finisher

Venesky-Brown are recruiting experienced Concrete Operatives/Finishers for upcoming airside works at Glasgow Airport. The project will mainly involve concrete preparation, pours and finishing works alongside formwork and steel fixing teams.

Details:

• Location: Glasgow Airport - Airside
• Shift: Sunday to Thursday nights
• Pay: £22.48 per hour Monday-Thursday/£25.35 per hour Sunday
• Employment: PAYE

Duties:

• Preparing areas ahead of concrete pours
• Placing and working concrete
• Vibrating, levelling and finishing concrete
• Floating and trowelling
• Concrete repairs and associated remedial works
• Working alongside formwork and steel fixing teams

Essential Requirements:

• Previous Concrete Operative/Finishing experience
• Valid CSCS Card - physical card must be held
• Available for Sunday to Thursday nightshifts
• Able to complete the Glasgow Airport Airside Pass process

Airside Pass Requirements:
Successful applicants must be able to provide:

• Fully verifiable 5-year employment/history
• 5-year address history
• Valid photographic ID
• Employment/gap references where required
• Information required for DBS checks

Previous experience on major civils, infrastructure, airport or reinforced concrete projects would be advantageous.
