As a Concept Art Intern, you will have the chance to expand your skills and knowledge in concept art while being guided by our talented art team.

Responsibilities

• Withfeedback andguidancefromconceptleads;createand iterate concept artwork.
• Begin to develop anunderstanding of best practices, productionpipelinesand workflows.
• Reference game design documents togainan understanding of the project.
• Track and update the progress of day to day tasks usingJIRA.
• Collaborate with project teamontask direction andqualityof own work.
• Implement and incorporate feedback from art leads and senior concept artists into work.

Qualifications

• You are completing a university placement year, are a career switcher or an aspiringconceptartist with minimal Game Development industry experience.
• You haveaconcept artportfoliocontainingpersonal or educational projects.
• You'reaself-learnerwith a passionand excitementfor game development andconcept art.
• Willing to incorporate modern concept pipelines such as 3D elements, photo-bashing, and other emergent technologies.
• You have a developing knowledge of narrative and visual story telling.

Right to Work Statement

This role is only open to applicants who have the permanent right to work in the UK. We are unable to provide or take over visa sponsorship, either now or in the future. The city's train station, just a short walk from our studio, offers frequent services to London, as well as direct routes to major cities like Birmingham, Manchester, and Reading and we also offer free parking at the studio.

Our open plan office promotes teamwork and innovation, with regular interaction with senior management and other departments, alongside access to free hot drinks, a handy tuck shop onsite and a range of local pubs, cafes and dining options nearby helping make every workday enjoyable!
