Check Your Eligibility - Essential Criteria
- Do you have, or expect to have by summer 2026, an Honours Degree (2:2 or above) in Computing or a closely related subject such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Cyber Security or Data Science?
- Do you have an A Level in Computing, ICT or a closely related subject, or equivalent?
- Do you have GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 (C) or above, or equivalent overseas qualifications?
- Do you have the indefinite right to work full time in the UK? No temporary visas of any kind permitted.
- Ideally, you will have experience of tutoring, teaching, mentoring or supporting young people in an educational setting.
What is the PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate of Education)?

Financial details
