Compliance Specialist

• Ensure full compliance with Skills Development Scotland and other contractual requirements.
• Provide administrative support to the Funding Team and Delivery Function.
• Liaise with other Apprenticeship administrative resources.
• Handle day-to-day funding and administrative tasks.
• Input and extract data from Maytas/Bud databases, PowerBI, and SDS FIPS database.
• Assist in improving data accuracy across all systems related to SDS contracts.
• Register all learners promptly with the Awarding Organisation (SQA) and Sector Skills Council (CFA or Tech Partnership) using MA online.
• Process Starts, Milestones, Achievers, and Early Leavers in accordance with SDS guidelines.
• Maintain accurate data and good housekeeping of MAYTAS, Bud, and FIPS systems.
• Maintain SDS audit error rate below 1%.
• Collaborate with internal partners to ensure process compliance.
• Assist in designing and implementing processes within the Funding Team and Apprenticeship delivery.

Knowledge and Skills

• Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Teams.
