Compliance Manager

Overview

A high-growth, entrepreneurial alternative investment manager with an established Irish office is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team and contribute to global strategic initiatives in a broad, high-impact, and commercially focused compliance role.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as Designated Person for Regulatory Compliance
• Manage and oversee the AIFM's compliance programme
• Collaborate with international compliance teams on group-wide initiatives
• Prepare and present compliance reports to boards and committees
• Maintain key compliance documentation (policies, registers, calendars)
• Oversee distribution and marketing compliance
• Ensure all marketing materials meet regulatory standards
• Provide compliance guidance to senior stakeholders and boards
• Deliver compliance training across the business
• Act as liaison with regulators (e.g. Central Bank)
• Ensure timely completion of regulatory reporting
• Support governance processes including board and committee coordination
• Contribute to wider business projects and initiatives

Key Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in compliance within funds, asset management or private markets.
• Strong knowledge of AIFMD and Irish regulatory framework.
• Understanding of AML/KYC requirements.
• Knowledge of EU marketing regulations highly desirable.
• High attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a boutique environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
