The opportunity

The Regulatory Compliance team, within the Legal Operations and Compliance Team, is responsible for ensuring IAG Loyalty's various businesses comply with applicable external and internal regulations and maintain ongoing compliance.

Reporting to the Regulatory Compliance Lead, you will play a crucial role in integrating compliance procedures at all levels of the organisation, including IAG Loyalty and British Airways Holidays.

You will support business growth by implementing the regulatory compliance program across British Airways Holidays, working closely with the Head of Commercial (Global Markets) and Compliance, and interacting with a wide range of stakeholders.

This role requires strong compliance knowledge, analytical thinking, creativity, and excellent communication skills to serve as a point of contact on regulatory compliance matters.

What you will be doing

The Compliance Manager will support ongoing compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements within IAG Loyalty and British Airways Holidays, including:

  • IAGL Compliance Program: Support the implementation of the Regulatory Compliance Programme and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines across the business, including IAG Loyalty Retail and British Airways Holidays.
  • Training and Awareness: Deliver training to colleagues to foster a culture of compliance.
  • Compliance Controls: Review processes, procedures, and controls to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
  • Advising Colleagues: Provide advice on compliance for new projects, products, ventures, and daily activities.
  • Regulatory Guidance: Offer guidance on FCA, travel regulations (e.g., ATOL), CAP, consumer regulations, customer terms, and ASA. Support compliance assessments and monitoring.
  • Third Parties: Assist with compliance and contractual terms when working with third parties, collaborating with Legal and Security Teams.
  • Reporting and Breaches: Investigate regulatory breaches and complaints, and monitor compliance risks.
What we are looking for

We seek someone with regulatory and compliance experience, ideally from financial services, loyalty, or travel sectors, but relevant experience from other industries is also welcome.

Strong stakeholder management skills and a proven ability to influence without direct control are essential.

Ability to build relationships internally and externally, prioritize effectively, and drive initiatives to successful completion are key qualities.
