Working in a team of three, the successful candidate will work closely with and support the existing compliance team to develop and deliver a strong specialist compliance function to Restructuring.
This is a wide-ranging flexible role which encompasses traditional compliance functions such as cold case reviews, regulatory inspections, risk monitoring, policies, standard templates, technical advice, training, assisting non-UK restructuring offices, developing new solutions, anti-money laundering, tenders, treasury audits, bond and IP renewals. The work will include administrative tasks as well.
This is an internal role with no casework responsibilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing reliable support within the compliance team.
- Building and maintaining relationships with Restructuring staff and global internal service lines, especially Technology, Privacy, Compliance, and Legal.
- Offering technical guidance on legislation and SIPs.
- Improving IPS templates and diaries.
- Guiding staff on AML procedures.
- Assisting with electronic systems in Restructuring (internal applications, IPS).
- Participating in projects to develop/improve electronic systems.
- Supporting regulatory/risk matters such as inspections, cold case reviews, and exception reporting.
- Assisting with complaints and insurance renewals.
- Training staff on new legislation, ethics, AML, procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years insolvency casework experience.
- Ideally CPI (or equivalent) qualified.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in IPS, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and comfortable with technology tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Willingness to travel to UK offices (Birmingham, Manchester) and possibly Dublin.
