Compliance Manager

Working in a team of three, the successful candidate will work closely with and support the existing compliance team to develop and deliver a strong specialist compliance function to Restructuring.

This is a wide-ranging flexible role which encompasses traditional compliance functions such as cold case reviews, regulatory inspections, risk monitoring, policies, standard templates, technical advice, training, assisting non-UK restructuring offices, developing new solutions, anti-money laundering, tenders, treasury audits, bond and IP renewals. The work will include administrative tasks as well.

This is an internal role with no casework responsibilities.

Responsibilities include:

1. Providing reliable support within the compliance team.
2. Building and maintaining relationships with Restructuring staff and global internal service lines, especially Technology, Privacy, Compliance, and Legal.
3. Offering technical guidance on legislation and SIPs.
4. Improving IPS templates and diaries.
5. Guiding staff on AML procedures.
6. Assisting with electronic systems in Restructuring (internal applications, IPS).
7. Participating in projects to develop/improve electronic systems.
8. Supporting regulatory/risk matters such as inspections, cold case reviews, and exception reporting.
9. Assisting with complaints and insurance renewals.
10. Training staff on new legislation, ethics, AML, procedures.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 4 years insolvency casework experience.
2. Ideally CPI (or equivalent) qualified.
3. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Proficiency in IPS, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and comfortable with technology tools.
6. Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
7. Willingness to travel to UK offices (Birmingham, Manchester) and possibly Dublin.
