Compliance Manager - Legal Sector (Sports & Media) Manchester Hybrid Working

We're currently working with a fabulous boutique law firm in Manchester looking to add a Compliance Manager into the firm. This is a great opportunity to join as the firms first compliance hire. You will work with high-profile clients, from major sports organisations to global media brands, while ensuring compliance at the highest standards.

The Role

This is a true generalist role, supporting across the compliance function. As Compliance Manager you will take ownership of:

• Managing client onboarding and engagement letters
• Overseeing AML and Sanctions processes
• Delivering compliance training to lawyers, fee earners and new starters
• Supporting file opening and closing procedures
• Assisting with risk and compliance projects across the firm

About you

Experience in a compliance role within the legal sector
Excellent organisation and attention to detail
Strategic thinking and a proactive mindset
Knowledge across AML Laws & SRA Guidelines
