Compliance Lead (Health and Safety)

Innovate Trust are seeking to recruit a Compliance Lead (Health and Safety) to support the organisation with building management, facilities, environmental and quality assurance.

Responsibilities include providing support to the Health and Safety Manager in leading and promoting health, safety, environment and compliance. Taking a leading role in identifying repairs, maintenance and improvement programmes and managing these projects from start to finishing including appointment and vetting of contractors. Working with various internal and external partners to managing social care housing stock with partner registered social landlords/housing associations and providing advice and guidance on building management, safety and compliance to various stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be able to demonstrate experience in health and safety compliance and building management
• Have extensive knowledge and experience of working with contractors, data and project management
• Have or be willing to achieve all relevant qualification
• Be a positive role model, demonstrating best practice in order to maintain high standards
• Be able to communicate effectively in various forms at different settings and at various levels
• Be committed to ongoing professional development and maintaining the highest standards of competency and professionalism ensuring new developments in building management, environment and compliance are included in practice.

An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check is required for the role.

A Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle for commuting and in work travel is required.
