A top-tier US law firm is seeking an experienced compliance professional to join its London team. This is a high-impact role at the centre of regulatory risk management across multiple European offices, offering exposure to complex, cross-border matters and senior stakeholder engagement.

The successful candidate will take a leading role in shaping and delivering financial crime compliance strategy, acting as a trusted advisor to partners and business teams. Working within a well-established function, you'll collaborate closely with senior leadership and international colleagues to uphold best-in-class standards across the firm.

• Act as the primary point of contact for financial crime matters, providing clear and commercially focused guidance
• Support senior compliance leadership with reporting obligations and regulatory interactions
• Oversee the enhancement and implementation of policies, procedures, and risk assessment processes
• Review higher-risk matters and provide input on reputational considerations
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development initiatives

• An England & Wales qualified lawyer with solid post-qualification experience from a leading US or international law firm is essential
• Strong understanding of financial crime frameworks across the UK and key European jurisdictions
• Confident working with senior stakeholders and managing competing priorities
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
