The crowdfunding sector is highly regulated, and we are looking for a keen, pragmatic and capable individual to join our Compliance team.
What You'll Be Doing- Handling reconciliation and payments to/from our client money account
- Scrutinising financial promotions, marketing material, and investment offer documentation ensuring they meet compliance standards.
- Handling AML/KYC processes - investigations, remediation, and due diligence.
- Maintaining ShareIn's training log and coordinating training sessions
- A sharp eye for detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Curiosity and desire to learn about the alternative finance sector in the UK and beyond.
- Flexibility: Things move quickly at ShareIn, and your tasks may evolve - we think that's a good thing!
- At least 2 years' direct experience working in a Finance, Audit or Compliance role.
- Experience working within a regulated framework or for a regulated firm. Understanding of FCA regulations, AML, KYC, and financial promotions a plus.
- Right to work in UK, and we'd like you to live not too far from Edinburgh so you can meet the rest of the Team every now and again.
- 35 days holiday increasing to 37 days after 5 years
- Option to work remote or from a central Edinburgh office with castle views
