A specialist SEN setting in Croydon is looking for a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex additional needs. This is a hands on SEN role for someone confident supporting pupils with more complex needs. The school needs someone caring, resilient, and confident working with pupils who may need communication support, sensory support, personal care, or structured routines.

What the role involves

• Supporting pupils with complex needs, ASD, PMLD, or EHCP-linked needs
• Helping pupils access learning and daily routines
• Working closely with SEN teachers, therapists, and support staff
• Providing consistent, patient, and reliable support

Qualifications and attributes

• SEN, care, support work, school or youth work experience
• Someone comfortable with practical support
• Patience, resilience, and strong communication
• A person who can stay calm and consistent throughout the day

Pay: £95 £120 per day

Location: Croydon (CR0 1EA)

Start date: September 2026
