Job Description
Position Summary 
We are hiring a Community Manager in Shannon, Co. Clare.

Key Responsibilities- Provide efficient and effective management and co ordination of service delivery within the designated area in accordance with Corlann policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Ensure day to day management of services reflects the ethos and vision of Corlann Services and promotes this vision in relationships with individuals, families, staff and the wider community.
- Develop and overall manage a range of day and residential services for adults with intellectual disabilities in local community settings.
- Liaise with and provide leadership to Coordinators, Team Leaders and Staff Members.
- Actively participate in the operational and strategic development of Shannon Services.
- A relevant third level qualification to a minimum of Degree level.
- Registered with or eligible to register with CORU by November 2025.
- Possess competencies and skills appropriate to working with persons with intellectual disability.
- Minimum five years of relevant experience, preferably in the intellectual disability sector or similar role with at least three years of management experience.
- Proven track record of managing residential, respite and/or day services that meet quality, regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Experience complying with the National Standards for Residential Services (Children and Adults) with Disabilities (January 2013 Act).
- Experience complying with HIQA standards and having undertaken and fulfilled the PIC and/or PPIM role.
- Knowledge of New Directions standards in day service.
- Full Irish/EU driving licence and car ownership.
- Management qualification.
