Volunteer - Community Hub Support

Join us to support the Community Hub by attending sessions that provide befriending, food bank assistance, warm space food provision, and crafts and activities. Opportunities to contribute ideas are welcome.

Location & Hours

Westfield Rd, Bishop Auckland, DL14 6AE.

Sessions are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Any support during those hours is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Attend and assist in community sessions
• Provide befriending support to community members
• Help with food bank and food provision during warm space sessions
• Organise or participate in crafts and activity sessions as needed

Training & Support

Training and support are offered. Expenses may be reimbursed and meals and refreshments are available during sessions.

Accessibility

The church is accessible with ramps and level access to toilets. It sits on the main bus route through Bishop Auckland, adjacent to Bishop Auckland General Hospital.
