The Children's Community Nursing pathway works across Devon to provide nursing care and is currently comprised of three teams: the Children's Community Nurse team, Special School Nurse team, and the Palliative Care team. The teams work closely together to provide a high quality responsive and dynamic service for children and young people in the community setting across Devon.

We are currently looking for a band 5 Community Children's Nurse to work across the teams.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will care for children with a wide variety of health conditions providing nursing care to promote care close to home and avoid hospital admission. You will work in partnership with other health service providers and other agencies, both statutory and voluntary, to provide exceptional levels of nursing care to our patients and strive to continually improve care with the involvement of patients and families.

Qualifications

• Registered RN/Child, RSCN, Diploma/Degree in nursing (Child)

Salary: £31,049 to £37,796 a year (pro rata)
