About the Role

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Community Care Workers to support individuals living independently in their own homes.

As a Community Care Worker, you will play a vital role in helping people maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life within their local community. This role involves providing practical support, personal care, and companionship tailored to each individual's needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
  • Supporting individuals with mobility and daily living activities
  • Assisting with meal preparation and hydration
  • Administering or prompting medication in line with care plans
  • Offering companionship and emotional support
  • Supporting individuals to attend appointments or community activities
  • Maintaining accurate care records and reporting changes in wellbeing
  • Working in a person-centred, respectful, and professional manner at all times
About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Caring, patient, and empathetic
  • Reliable with good time-keeping
  • Comfortable working independently in the community
  • Able to communicate clearly with service users, families, and colleagues
  • Committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care

Previous experience in domiciliary or community care is beneficial but not essential - full training and ongoing support can be provided.

Requirements
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Ability to travel between service users (car and driving licence essential)
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, or weekends
