Community Care Rehab Assistant

Your Role: Supporting Independence Enriching Lives

We are recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants to join our Community Care team. This role involves supporting an individual living with a brain injury, so previous experience supporting individuals with brain injuries is desirable.We are looking for candidates with previous care experience who are reliable, confident working independently and flexible.In return we offer flexible work to suit your availability, a variety of ongoing opportunities, access to training and development, and immediate work available.

Your responsibilities:

Personal care and support: Assisting with daily routine management and organisation.

Companionship: Offering warmth, kindness and a friendly face. Promoting confidence and social engagement while working towards the client's rehabilitation goals.

Promoting independence: Providing encouragement and motivation to engage in daily tasks and meaningful activities like meal planning and cooking.

Community access: Helping clients engage in their local community and volunteering opportunities.

What we're looking for:

At least 3 months of paid professional care experience (or personal care experience in the UK)

Experience supporting individuals with brain injuries is desireable.

The right to work in the UK

Registration with SSSC (applicants in Scotland) or SCW (applicants in Wales)

Ability to understand both verbal and written English to follow care plans and communicate effectively
