Community Care Assistant

Full-time & Part-time £12.71 - £21.06 per hour BLOCK PAY

Absolute Care South West is a family-run care agency based in Honiton, East Devon. We are dedicated to providing exceptional care services to clients in Honiton, Ottery St Mary, West Hill, Cranbrook, Stockland and the surrounding rural areas. Our team is led by professionally qualified managers who are passionate about ensuring the highest standards of care.

Join our team of 32 carers to help support62 clients, where each day brings variety - from meaningful30 minute visits to extended 10-hour sitting services, allowing you to build lasting connections and making a real difference in people's lives!

Our care calls start at 7:00am and continue through to our final visits around 9:40pm

We specialise in supporting individuals in their own homes, promoting their independence, and delivering person-centered care. • Full driving license and access to a car (required for rural areas)

What will your role look like?

• Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
• Preparing meals and assisting with eating
• Light domestic duties (bed making, laundry, cleaning)
• Providing companionship and building relationships with clients
• Assisting with manual handling using appropriate equipment
