We are seeking a dedicated and community-minded individual to join our team as a Community Cafe Supervisor located at Lipscomb Hall in Cockfield. What Will You Be Doing?As the Community Cafe Supervisor, you will lead the delivery of our cafe for the benefit of our valued customers and members. Your main responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing a team of Community Cafe Assistants and volunteers to provide "exceptional" service.
- Managing day-to-day operations, including rotas, health and safety audits, stock rotation, and budget expenditure.
- Driving engagement by creating a welcoming environment, developing exciting menus, and marketing the cafe both online and within the local community.
- Capturing the impact of the cafe's work and ensuring the voices of our community members are at the heart of our offer.
To be successful in this rewarding role, it is essential that you have:
- Previous experience in hospitality or a similar setting and experience supervising others.
- A Food Hygiene Certificate and First Aid Qualification (or a willingness to gain them).
- The ability to maximise sales opportunities and work towards targets and KPIs.
- A flexible approach to working hours, as the role includes weekend work on a rota basis.
