Committee Secretary

The secretary's role is to prepare agendas and supporting documents for monthly committee meetings, keep minutes of meetings, and handle any correspondence. They also take care of documents and records. Guidelines are available. This is a great entry-level role.
Personal support and guidance is given, and online templates are available.
Requirements- An understanding of meeting procedures (can learn as you go)
- Ability to take accurate and clear minutes of meetings
- Attention to detail and well organised
- Objectivity
A Police background check is required for this role.
Time commitmentApprox 3 hours / month. Meetings are usually held on the first Wednesday of the month, in the afternoon, at the Abbeyfield House in Kensington.
