Commissioning Engineer

Job Title: Commissioning Engineer. Location: Dartford, Kent. Salary / Benefits £25k - 45k + Training + Benefits

Our client is a reputable Commissioning company who have a strong presence in the South East. They are now seeking to recruit a Commissioning Engineer. Working across a mixed portfolio of sites, you will be responsible for undertaking air and water balancing, measuring balance flow rates, calibrating equipment, and ensuring to work in line with relevant Health and Safety / CIBSE guidelines. For the successful candidate, our client can offer further training, excellent holiday allowance, and company pension scheme.

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience working for a recognised Commissioning company working hands on as an engineer.
• Will hold CSA grade 2 or above.
• Able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of relevant Health and Safety / CIBSE guidelines.
• Excellent technical, chemical and water treatment knowledge.
• Excellent IT skills.
• Able to communicate efficiently.

The Role

• Carrying out air and water balancing and systems.
• Measuring balance flow rates.
• Ensuring to calibrate all equipment prior to balancing water systems.
• Carrying out balancing on primary and secondary systems e.g., AHU, CHW, and LTHW.
• Using information gathered from site to produce detailed technical reports for clients.
• Ensuring to prepare work for witnessing in a timely manner.
• Carrying out work in line with building plans and schematic drawings.
• Working in line with Health and Safety / CIBSE guidelines.
• Alternative Job titles: Commissioning Engineer, Senior Engineer, Service Engineer, Ventilation Engineer, Process Commissioning Engineer, Assistant Commissioning Engineer.
